New Kids recap

So the concert was a lot of fun! Talk about a gorgeous night! It actually got kind of cool. I'd have to say the November concert was done a little better--not sure if it was just a combination of the guys being more energetic because it was their first time back together in 15 years...and it being the first time the fans had come out. Not that it's "old news" now, but they seemed to have more comedy and fan interaction at the last show. Plus the last one was at Scottrade and I think indoor concerts are a bit more "done up". The guys have been tourning pretty much straight thru since early last fall... it's probably time for a break!



BUT...don't get me wrong...it was still a blast! Extremely entertaining, just as they always are. And what made it EVEN BETTER was that I got to grab Jordan and Joey's hands! Hahaha. My life is complete...I touched a New Kid. Maybe it wasn't as good as the Meet n Greet where you get 5 minutes to talk to them, but hey...this was free, not $400. We were in the actual seats at the ampitheatre, but we were all the way next to the left aisle. Well it turned out to be perfect, because for one song that's where they walked up. Yay! Even funnier...Jason reached out and slapped Jon's hand. He yelled at him in a shrieky voice while he slapped his hand, and the poor guy did a total 180 and looked back at Jason like What the... whoa that's a big dude. They both laughed--it was priceless. Way to go, Jason. Millions of girls would have paid big bucks for that opportunity. Part of me was slightly bummed that Alayna and Josslyn were too small to come. There were lots of little bitty girls there and Donnie took one on stage. Dangit. Our friend Ashley said "isn't that what little kids are for anyway...you use them to get stuff! ;-)

Me n Ashley... I guess they wouldn't give out hearts for Joey cuz he's married? Lame.
